I would give zero stars if I could. Terrible communication and huge safety risks. My entire building gets the same machines and our maintenance team and building manager told them multiple times what unit we needed. They call me many times for exact measurements and specifics when I’m just a tenant with no information. They then keep calling me. I tell them which unit to bring after talking to my building manager. My building manager called them 3 times to express our anger and disappointment with their terrible communication and listening skills. They are unable to do basic tasks. They delivered the washer/dryer during the 1 hour we told them not to come. Then they said it’s the wrong unit, the owner told the delivery driver the wrong information after we talked to him 5+ times. Then we had to wait another day (2 weeks without a machine). They ended up installing an ugly cheaper version of our old machine that makes so much noise no one could use it at night and that’s the only time I can wash clothes. They installed it at 11am and at 8pm my roommate said she thinks she smells something gas like but isn’t sure. I come home an hour later and the entire apartment smells like gas to the point I was coughing. My roommates were asleep and unaware of the dangers of gas. I could easily tell it’s coming from the washer/dryer that was just installed. They were inhaling gas for almost 9 hours, it’s a miracle they are alive and unharmed. We had to call fire department, police and SoCal gas at 10pm. They finally came to turn it off and in fact said someone installed the washer/dryer incorrectly which caused a leak. When I called the owner and delivery man - they said it was too late for them to deal with it. Someone could have died because of their mistakes. I have never been so upset in my life. They lost thousands of dollars of business now that the housing company I live in has cut ties but atleast this will save some lives.

I have been shopping there for 6 years now. They are always fully stocked with merchandise. The salesmen are knowledgeable about the merchandise and what is in the market. Sabino and Frank always explain the product features in detail. Their prices are always lower than their competition. And, I have never had problem with their delivery. Always on time and without a problem. I recommend this place.

The appliances my landlord bought from here were allegedly new but needed to be replaced within a year and a half. They suggested I go to Albee’s to find replacements - which I wasn’t really into given the first round off appliances they bought from there, but I thought I’d give it a try. The first time I came they didn’t have what I needed as my fridge was slightly smaller than standard. Didn’t even bother going in there when I needed to replace the stove. Im now moving and looking to sell very nice, 1.5 year old appliances and was curious if they ever bought from individuals or did trades. The man I spoke to today was so incredibly rude and unhelpful. He stopped talking to me right after I said “I have a question” and picked up to phone to speak to another customer and in general was very dismissive of me and my questions. There was also a guy working there blatantly not wearing a mask - inside - while customers were in the store. I’m not one to write bad reviews, especially during these times, but Ive given this place a few chances and have been disappointed each time. Today, I was so appalled at how crass and unprofessional this person was and how poorly I was treated. I wanted to support a local, veteran neighborhood business but honestly if you’re an individual and not a landlord, don’t even waste your time. Go to Lowe’s or Home Depot or one other the other uses appliance stores that actually treat customers with human decency.

Wish I can rate this zero. I had ordered a fridge 2 weeks in advance from when I was promised for it to be delivered. The day of “delivery” I was told that the driver would be out and would call me 30 min before. By 5pm no show. I called the next day in the morning and was told “we’ve been busy and one of our drivers was in the wrong area, let me see what I can do” I called every half hour and NOTHING. SABINO, and FRANK. I spoke to BOTH of them and after me bugging for the delivery, they had other employees answer and say “he’s in lunch” or “he’s done for the day” ... I was supposed to be calling back. Only ONE FRIDGE!!! One!!! I was planning to order about 5 at a time but nope. They have Abad delivery and organization problems !!!

I placed an order for a stove with Sabino at Albee’s on Wilshire and Crescent Heights. I ordered it on a Tuesday. I was told they had the stove and we set up delivery for Thursday before 2. My tenant told me at 2 that it had not been delivered. I called and Sabino told me they were too busy to deliver the stove. He said they would deliver it on Friday 9:30-11. I called at 11 and they said the did not have anyone to deliver the stove. We set up a THIRD appointment for Monday by 1 o’clock. I called at 12 and was told THEY DID NOT HAVE THE STOVE IN STOCK!!!! How could they sell it to me and set up 2 delivery dates if they do not have the stove!!?? They said they had a model that was $25 more. By this time my husband went to the store to see what was going on. He agreed to pay the up charge because they wore him down and he wanted this to be over . He followed the truck to the apartment and waited for them to deliver and install the stove. By the way, we were quoted $45 for delivery/installation. We were charged $59. When I questioned Sabino I was told that was impossible, but he would charge me $49, not $59. He did not live up to this agreement and we paid $59!! I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING HERE EVER!!!!
